We strive to protect the personal information and privacy of minors (including persons under the age of 18 in China, and other persons pursuant to the applicable laws governing such age requirements in other relevant jurisdictions) and children (including persons under the age of 14 in China, and other persons pursuant to the applicable laws governing such age requirements in other relevant jurisdictions). In this rule (the “Rules”), we will, based on the rednote User Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), explain the rules and relevant matters for the collection and use of the personal information of children and minors (collectively, “Minors”). Where there is any discrepancy between these Rules and the Privacy Policy, these Rules shall prevail. The Privacy Policy shall apply mutatis mutandis to the matters not covered herein. By clicking the “Agree” button on the online interface, you and/or your guardian agrees that we may provide the rednote Platform and rednote Platform Services and process the personal information in accordance with these Rules.

To safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of your child, we expect you to ensure that your child uses the rednote Platform and rednote Platform Services and submits personal information to us with your consent and under your direction, as permitted under the appliable laws. For the purposes of providing you with a notice of the rules for processing personal information of Minors and obtaining your consent, you agree that we may collect your contact information from your child. We will not use your contact information for any purpose other than as described in the preceding sentence and will delete your contact information promptly if your consent is not obtained within a reasonable time after our notice to you. We will take special measures to protect relevant information in accordance with these Rules. If you disagree with these Rules, please ask your child to immediately cease access to/use of the rednote Platform and rednote Platform Services.

If you are a minor as described by these Rules, please ask your guardian to read these Rules together with you and obtain the consent of your guardian before you use the rednote Platform or rednote Platform Services or submit your personal information. If you are under the age prescribed under appliable laws for using the rednote Platform and rednote Platform Services, or if you have questions regarding such legal requirements, please discuss and consult with your guardians and obtain verifiable guardian consent before you use the rednote Platform and rednote Platform Services and submit your personal information.

Teen Mode
청소년 모드
1.1. We have designed and developed a “Teen Mode”. The guardian may enabled the “Teen Mode” and set the password through “Settings -Teen Mode” if the Minor elect for such use, or his or her guardian does not agree with the Minor’s use of non-Teen Mode.

1.2. Under the Teen Mode, the Minors are not allowed to use rednote Platform from 22: 00 PM to 6: 00 AM or for over 40 minutes per day by default. A password is required for the continuous use of rednote Platform if the duration of single-day usage exceeds the above designed time limit. The password is set and managed by the guardians for them to effectively guide the Minors to use rednote Platform.

Collection and Protection of Personal Information of Minors
We will strictly fulfill our obligations and responsibilities for the protection of Minors’ personal information as stipulated by applicable laws and regulations, adhering to the principles of legitimacy, necessity, informed consent, clear purpose, security assurance, and lawful use.

당사는 관련 법률 및 규정에 명시된 미성년자 개인정보 보호 의무와 책임을 엄격히 이행하며, 적법성, 필요성, 정보에 기반한 동의, 명확한 목적, 보안 보장 및 합법적 사용의 원칙을 준수합니다.
2.1 How We Collect and Use Minors’ Personal Information

Please be aware that our rednote Platform and rednote Platform Services are not directed at, targeted at, or intended for use by Minors. Therefore, when we may not automatically identify and determine whether the personal information collected and processed belongs to Minors, we will collect and process users' personal information in accordance with the rednote User Privacy Policy. However, if users make us aware of their identity as Minors through real-name authentication or other means, we will fulfill our reasonable obligations to refuse to provide the rednote Platform Services or remind users to use the rednote Platform Services under the consent or supervision and guidance of their Guardians, as required by applicable laws. Additionally, we will take special protection measures for accounts involving Minors' personal information in accordance with this Policy and laws and regulations.

Furthermore, if you voluntarily provide us with Minors’ personal information while using the rednote Platform Services, such as when Guardians use community, order sharing, and other information publishing functions, it indicates that you and the Guardians have agreed to our collection and use of minors' personal information in accordance with this Policy. Guardians should be aware and make careful choices.

2.2 How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Minors' Personal Information

To ensure the security of Minors' personal information provided externally, we generally do not entrust third parties to process Minors' personal information. If it is necessary to entrust third parties to process Minors' personal information, we will conduct a security assessment of the entrusted party's personal information protection qualifications and entrusted processing behavior, and sign a data entrustment processing agreement, clarifying the responsibilities of both parties, processing matters, processing period, processing nature, and purpose, ensuring that the entrusted behavior does not exceed the authorized scope.

(1) Before sharing or entrusting processing, we will take compliance measures in accordance with laws and administrative regulations, including but not limited to self-assessment or entrusting third-party institutions to evaluate the legality, legitimacy, and necessity of sharing Minors' personal information and their ability to protect Minors' personal information.

If a user does not provide us with certain information, e.g. the age of such user, we may not be able to identify whether the personal information collected and processed belongs to the personal information of Minors. Under such circumstance, we will collect and process the personal information of the user in strict accordance with the Privacy Policy.
